DIRECTIONS TO THE OLD CROFT HOUSE

The Old Croft House is in Aird, on the Sleat Peninsula, which is the most southerly tip of Skye. There are two main routes to get there: via the bridge, from Kyle of Lochalsh, or via ferry from Mallaig.

From Kyle, the cottage is approximately a 40 minute drive from the bridge. Once over the bridge you follow signs to Broadford, and then take the turning off left (A851) just before you reach the town, signposted to Armadale. You follow this road for approximately 25 minutes, until you reach a turning on the right, just before Armadale Pier, for Ardvasar.

Passing the 'Aird' sign you cross a cattle grid, then continue until you see a phone box on your left. You then take the left turn after the phone box, which almost doubles back on itself, and follow this track to the end, where you will find The Old Croft House.
